I started experimenting with raw foods several years ago and even though it is difficult to maintain, I try to eat raw as much as I can. One of my favorite raw recipes is the Zucchini Pasta. It’s easy to make and for those who are experimenting with raw food, it is the perfect way to start your journey to health.
What you will need:
- mandolin slicer or use a simple vegetable peeler to make fettucine strips
- 2 medium zucchini
- 1tbsp olive oil
- 1tbsp lemon juice
- 1tbsp nutritional/savoury yeast
- 1/2tbsp sea salt
What you will do:
- Peel the zucchini. Slice the zucchini in half. Push the zucchini through a slicer, you can also use to cut it into thin slices.
- Drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice on the zucchini pasta, sprinkle with fine sea salt and some nutritional yeast
