Portabella Mushroom Burger
My family and I are in love with a portabella mushroom burgers. Besides tasting delicious, they are a great way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet. Check out some gluten free recipes at Vegetarian Mamma.
What You Will Need:
- 3 large portabella mushrooms
- 3 buns
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup of EVOO
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 avocados
- sprouts
What You Will Do:
- In a bowl combine olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper and brush it on the mushrooms generously
- Arrange mushroom caps, gill sides down, in a large glass baking dish
- Bake in the oven at 420 for 15 to 20 minutes
- Place the mushrooms on the bun add the sprouts and the avocado

Thank you so much!! I learned that my pictures come out better if I come eye level to the plate. So when I took the picture of the dish I came to it at eye level and very close up. Does that make sense. I am a horrible teacher by the way!

Thanks Krista I have a lot of allergies so I dont eat gluten, dairy, meat, fructose, or eggs. Mostly veggies, grains and sometimes fish.
Beautiful! Here, there’s this veggie burger using a kind of cake called “tempe” to alternate the meat. It’s a cake made of soybeans. I would want to taste your burger anywayyy <3
