I have been blogging for six weeks and I realized that I missed an important family member. Before we had Emma, my husband gave me a puppy. He is a miniature shih-tzu, who we named Kuzya. He became our first child and when people would show pictures of their kids, we would proudly display pictures of our little boy. I don’t know about anyone else but getting Kuzya was a great preparation before we had our first child. He taught us responsibility and gave us a mutual love for something. Six years later, my husband is asking for another dog. But I am a little worried and wondering if it is a good idea. Does anyone out there have more than one dog? Do they get along?

Here are some of my favorite pictures of my Kuzya.

Kuzya’s second day with us. I found these two sleeping when I came home.

He was 2 1/2 pounds of cuteness when we brought him home.

This is one of my favorite pictures.

Kuzya all grown up.

Howie’s son has a powderpuff Chinese Crested who is about 10 yearsold. They recently rescued a 2 year old mimiature poodle mix and all has been fine. ALso as you know, we gave baxter away and the woman has 2 other shih tzus and a cat. No problem. Lastly Jill had rescued a gErman shepherd lab mix. She had him for 2 years and it was a nightmare. She finally gave him away to a woman who lives on a farm and has aboutna dozen dogs. He is very happy there and much better behaved.

So cute! We don’t have any pets right now, but I do have fond memories of pets when I was a child. :)

We have two cats and two dogs. At first, the second cat had a hard time adjusting. They all get along great and I can’t imagine life without all of them. :)
