My First Year With Emma
This Sunday, I went to my friend’s baby shower and as she was opening her gifts, I thought back to the days when my almost 5-year-old was a baby. When I got home, the first thing I wanted to do was to go through her baby pictures. As I was looking through them, it brought me back to that first year, I am not talking about the sleepless nights or the constant worrying that you are doing something wrong, but instead I remembered those sweet moments. Here are a few of my favorite memories the very first year.
Her first smile
Her little hands and feet that I could not stop kissing
The first time she looked at me with so much love and I got my very first kiss from her
The first time she laughed
When I heard her say mama
The first time she crawled
When she took her first step
Life is a series of moments and it is pictures that help us capture and remember the precious times that make up our life.

What a cutie! The years go by way too fast, don’t they?
Beautiful little girl. I am smiling because my little girl is now 17 and even age 5 seems so long ago. Time flies by so fast. Cherish each and every moment. I try to with both of my children.
